2009 ~ Trustees Fine Dining Experience
The trustees hosted a fine dining experience the evening of September 25, 2009. The mean was catered by Lisa Nixon & family, owner of Lasting Impressions Flower shop of Daleville, Indiana. Flowers and decorations were also provided by Lisa.
This meal was hosted by the trustees to raise funds for a new roof for the church.

2009 ~ Work Camps
Each summer a team from DUMC participates in a work camp. The team has traveled to Appalachia/Kentucky, Maine, and urban Rockford, Illinois. It has long been a dream of the work team to bring the skills that they have learned over the years back to our own community of Daleville, Indiana. During the summer of 2009 that dream became a reality and Daleville United Methodist Church hosted it's first work camp. Workers slept, ate, prayed, and worshiped together at the church in the evenings and spent their days working on building projects throughout the community. Many lives were touched throughout this week and the team is already gearing up for next summer!
2010 ~ Everybody's Birthday Party!
Every January, we celebrate everyones birthday in the church all on one day. There is always great food, good fun, and a small gift exchange!

2014 ~ Walk A Mile Fundraiser
February 14 -- Members of DUMC braved the cold temps and blistering windy to help support the Muncie Mission in their annual fundraiser.
Eating!
Like to eat? We do! We serve a meal every Wednesday evening, and every other Tuesday at lunchtime. We also have meals following our Sunday morning worship and Sunday School periodically, as well as serve the best Thanksgiving dinner in town!
